Today I learned that the Governor of South Carolina offered to surrender our state as a neutral territory in the Revolutionary War. Or at least is wasn't something I remembered learning about the American Revolution. The title here _Whig Loyalist_ isn't really a thing, just an idea of where I might have walked the line on the whole independence issue.
